1st Ward is currently one of two expat wards in Singapore, and during the northern hemisphere summer months (June/July) many families travel to visit their families at ‘home’ or travel for business or holiday.
As we approach the end of another year and as we look forward to celebrating another Christmas we would like to reflect on the meaning of this most wonderful event - the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace.

When I was young, my father was a Methodist by name and my mother practiced the traditional Chinese religion of Taoism/Buddhism as per the seasons of the year. I followed my mother to all her religious activities during my childhood years.
