Time Management Workshop
By Deborah Tan
Toa Payoh Ward

A Time Management Workshop was held on the 8th of July 2006 by Brother AC Ho for the Singapore Stake Single Adults as well as Couples. In relation to his line of work, Brother Ho was the perfect person to speak to the Stake about how they could manage their time.

He covered the essentials of time management, such as how to tell the difference between “urgent” and “important” items or events, how to get important things done, as well as the 4 Quadrants of the Time Matrix: the Quadrant of Necessity, Effectiveness, Deception, and Waste and Excess. Brother Ho then focused on the need to plan our time well in order to avoid wastage of time, by firstly focusing on our purposes in life and roles we are to fulfill, and then narrowing our plans to weekly and daily ones.

It was a very good evening and the audience who attended felt that they had learnt something that they could definitely apply to their lives.
