On the evening of June 26, 2004,
the Saints gathered together to be entertained by the many
talented members of the Singapore Stake. The evening was
conducted by the dynamic duo of Leo SanDiego and Tiffany
Lai. The acts included dances varying from modern to
cultural/traditional. The audience especially enjoyed the
dance, “Ostso, Ostso” performed by the 3rd
Ward Primary children. Several vocal pieces were performed
ranging from a duet sung by Zou Yu and Logan Wolfley to a
group of sisters from the Woodlands Ward singing and
signing the words to the song “Proud of You”.
Instrumental pieces included flute, piano and a
traditional Chinese instrument called Gu Zen. The audience
was mesmerized by magic tricks from Lim Yi. The Young
Single Adult Institute Class, the Clementi Ward Primary,
2nd Ward, and the youth who attended Youth Conference also
performed a myriad of skits. Thanks go to all who
participated, and especially to Bro. Lester Wong who
organized and set up the evening for all to enjoy. Start
now and practice up for next year. We look forward to
another fun filled evening of talent!
