At 6:30 p.m. Prof. Ulrich arrived at The Tanglin Club for a dinner hosted by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was a delightful event with dinner and speaker. Nearly 40 guests attended, 2/3 of which were friends of the church but not members. Elder and Sister Tan Su Kiong, Presidents Victor Chen, Stephen Lai and Glen O’Grady also attended. The evening was conducted by Charlie Chan, Director of Public Affairs, Singapore, assisted by Tina Khoo, Media Director for Singapore. Of those that attended, there were business, government, education, media, and non-Christian religious leaders. Attached is the guest list.

Dinner was served and then Professor Ulrich, who was accompanied on this trip by his son Mike, took the stage. Speaking for about an hour, he tied the principles of human resources not only to work, but to families, churches, and all other groups.

Information packets for the Church were distributed to all guests. It was an excellent evening and a very pleasant event.
