The annual CES graduation was held on the 4th of November, Saturday. Students from the graduating year of Seminary received their graduation certificates, as well as students who had completed the seminary or institute course of the year.

Brother Michael Tamil from the CES was present to award the recipients out with the certificates.
Many of the early morning seminary graduates this year completed their course with 100% attendance and some even completed their entire scripture mastery series.

The graduation also recognized the many people who make the early seminary program possible, namely the parents, drivers and teachers, many of whom wake up earlier than the students themselves to ensure they get to the Church buildings on time.

President Gordon B. Hinckley has said this of the seminary and institute programs: “Take advantage of every opportunity to enlarge your understanding of the gospel.

Make the effort to participate in the seminary and institute programs. We urge all for whom it is available to take advantage of it. We do not hesitate to promise that your knowledge of the gospel will be increased, your faith will be strengthened, and you will develop wonderful associations and friendships”. (Ensign, May 1984)

The seminary and institute courses commence early next January. Please check with your Bishops if you are in doubt of the exact starting date.
