Joy in Service: Stake Relief Society Service Project Report |

The Stake RS services project to AWWA has been a great success. Sisters in the Singapore Stake have given heart-warming service to the residents of the AWWA Home for Senior Citizens. When two large buses each carrying 80 AWWA residents rolled up to the Bukit Timah Stake Center, they were greeted by the Relief Society sisters and ushered to a beautifully decorated cultural hall where a delicious high tea was awaiting them.

Church Leaders Paid Courtesy Call On Chairman of Singapore Taoist Federation |

A delegation of Church leaders led by Elder Kent D Watson, First Counselor in the Asia Area Presidency, paid a courtesy call on Mr Tan Tian Lai, Chairman of the Singapore Taoist Federation on 18 May 2012. Accompanying Elder Watson were Sister Watson, Bishop Dean Davies (Second Counselor in the Presiding Bishopric), Sister Davies, Elder Victor Chen (Area Seventy), President Stephen Lai (Singapore Stake President) and Charlie Chan (Director of Public Affairs). In addition to Mr Tan, Chung Kwang Tong (Wei Yi), Sec-Gen, Taoist Federation Youth Group, was also in attendance.
